This super rare vintage 1950's dress by American label Fein is exquisite. In powder blue, it has been overdyed to give it a more contemporary look as it was probably white, and the blue addition gives a slight tie dye effect to the skirt which is very faint but attractive. It features lace panelling behind each pin tuck column and the lace is echoed at the collar and sleeve. Unique little white buttons , a tie to the waist and a tulle petticoat finish the dress to perfection.
The skirt has a few faint marks, with a very faint mark to the lace and a small darned area at the hemline, but these are honestly barely visible on, and I only noticed them when we made repairs to the waistline and secured the buttons better. For a piece with such history, it looks utterly stunning on and is guaranteed to get tons of comments!
Dresses like this are rare to find and we come across them very infrequently. We have just one like this.
