This beautiful little velvet wonder is made by a label Judy in England and probably dates from the seventies by the style of the label and by the detail of it's cut.
With little pleats to the shoulder, a wide waistband, and skirt that falls into pleats, the tailoring is something not found today. The little frill lace collar is so on trend, but of course we don't really care about that as we see these kind of beautiful garments as being totally timeless. Wearing a piece like this, your child is guaranteed to get lots of positive remarks, as with all vintage clothing, it really stands out from the crowd.
The pics show the hem is not even, it has come undone but this will be fixed by us before it reaches it's new home!
