Edwardian Seventies Vintage Bridesmaid Dress

£45.00

This really is an exquisite dress which was hand made in the 1970's and came to us from a lady's London attic purge. The dress is absolutely stunning on and would be wonderful for a special occasion or wedding. This dress was one of two, and is not in as perfect condition as the first one we sold.

CONDITION NOTE: this dress has some faint staining to the front of the dress but it still looks absolutely beautiful on and would be amazing for a dressing up occasion.

The fabric of the skirt is a beautiful cotton weave with embroidered little freesia like flowers and is lined, with a row of little bows down the back. The top of the dress in soft power blue velvet is framed by beautiful cotton lace embroidery with ribbon running through it.

This is a rare on off piece that we have just one of.

Age 8-10 years depending on child.

Measurements laid flat to compare to a dress you have laid flat:

Shoulder to shoulder 26cms

Pit to pit 34cms

Waist 29cms

Length 100cms (the hemline  could be taken up and let down later on as the child grows).
